DO NOT pluck your lashes or rub your eyes excessively.

Q: Will Eyelash Extensions cause my natural lashes to drop?

A: When applied correctly, eyelash extensions SHOULD NOT damage your natural lashes.

On average, we shed about 3-5 natural lashes daily depending on our lash cycle without even noticing it. It only gets more visible when we get eyelash extensions done.

Shedding of natural lash is also known as our Natural Lash Cycle.

During this stage, our lashes goes through 3 different phases A.K.A. the

1. Growth Phase (Anagen): This stage last about 4 to 6 weeks depending on our lash growth. Lashes will grow to its maximum length and strength. During this stage, using lash serum will enhance lash growth.

2. Transition Phase (Catagen): During this stage, our natural lashes stops growing when it has reached its maximum growth length. However, it will not drop yet and will remain in this stage for about 2 to 3 weeks.

3. Resting Phase (Telogen): At this stage, baby hair starts to form and your old natural lashes will drop and the cycle repeats.

Hence, when you pull out your eyelash extensions duringa any phase, you risk pulling our your natural lashes and causing a bald spot in your natural lashes.

A: If you like how your natural mascara lash looks, lash lift is your go-to since it is low maintenance and the curl can last for up to 6 to 8 weeks depending on your lash growth cycle. However, if you feel that mascara is too natural for you, eyelash extensions will be your answer!
